If past is prologue we will be seeing a lot of Pace Wu at the Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Fall 2013 shows. Designers want her in the front row and photographers love to take her picture. She started off with Giambattista Valli and Ulyana Sergeenko, looking fetching at both appearances plus a photo-shoot that took advantage of the Parisian light during the "golden hour" just before twilight.
For example here:
There is the usual standing around and looking at the camera stuff of course:
Here she is in (and with) Ulyana Sergeenko; not sure if the bro in the open necked shirt is a bodyguard (Sergeenko is the trophy wife of a Russian oligarch) or just a random photobomber:
She know how to sell a look even given the insalubrious setting, as in, "Go stand in that corner, away from the rabble at the front entrance. Face the wall and make it look great."

Pace Wu and her stately progress through Paris fashion week
Just what the diva starved masses have been demanding--Pace Wu, the model turned actress turned international fashion icon was in all the front rows at the recent Paris fall/winter 2013 shows. Designers who missed the Pace Wu express train had to settle for a cardboard cut-out to fool the photographers. More or less confirmehttp://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=2483310749579215048#editor/target=post;postID=5787101138726150064d sightings include the usual heavyweights: Louis Vuitton and Elie Saab plus up and coming Taiwanese house Shiatzy Chen.
Pace Wu x 12.
First, Carven, Lanvin, Viktor & Rolf:
Next up are Loewe, Chloe, Givenchy: (the French don't have a combination to rival the linguistic triplets of Gucci, Pucci and Fiorucci in Italy)
Followed by Giambattista Valli, Stella McCartney, Valentino:
Shiatzy Chen, Louis Vuitton, Elie Saab:
A few other angles:
The black leather and chiffon Loewi minidress:
The result of a week's worth of stiletto heels, ankle straps with strange buckles and lots of walking--ouch:
Pace Wu said there was a movie due out in May in which she appears with Fan Bingbing, saying that it was a love story (most likely not between them, more's the pity) but that she didn't know it's title in English.

Karen Mok drinks whiskey with Jude Law
Diageo plc gave a party for the opening of "Johnnie Walker House Beijing", described as the world's largest embassy for luxury Scotch Whisky outside of Scotland. Who knew that distillers had their own embassies, just like sovereign nations?
Karen Mok was there decked out in striking but turquoise and black:
She earned her money by holding up the product while looking great:
Chatting with Jude Law who looked as if may have had a few drinks before things started:
And had a big smile (even by Karen Mok smile terms) when the brand execs showed up:
Pace Wu was at the event as well, also dressed in green, and looking lovely which seems to the the case generally with her.

One more Pace Wu post: rabbit ears

Pace Wu does Paris, walks for Betsey Johnson
Pace Wu has been making the rounds at the Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013 and has made quite an impression with designers, particularly Betsey Johnson who had her on the runway for what might have been Johnson's last show.
Backstage with the designer with the hustle and bustle of show prep in the background.
The punk dowager empress look has yet to catch on.
Hair and make-up done and ready to hit the runway.
They seem to have found a look somewhere between Elsa Lanchester as the "Bride of Frankenstein" and 1960s American radical Angela Y. Davis.
It took three people (at least) for her hair.
She had a less hectic time of it--and probably not as much fun--with a few other designers. Pace Wu strikes a pose at the Lanvin show.
In a lovely LBD (little black dress) at Chloe.
Saying hello to Geoffroy de la Bourdonnaye, Chloe CEO.
Arriving at the Jean-Paul Gaultier show--killer suit, striking sweater/shirtfront combination, overly coordinated accessories.
You lookin' at me?

Keeping up with Pace Wu and her many feathered skirts
Showing that she has a feathered skirt for any commercially important occasion Pace Wu appeared as a new face for a Japanese cosmetics firm. In the picture above she is demonstrating the giant economy sizes for the line of Urara skin products.
Yes, my legs really are that long. Next question?
A few days later she stopped in at a multi-brand Autumn/Winter show
Lost on the way to a goth toga party?
Ruby Lin was there and they got together in the front row so they could talk about the people who didn't make it.

Bulgari exhibit at National Museum of China: Tang Wei sparkles
Hoping that the demand for super-luxury goods in the People's Republic of China continues, Bulgari staged its not ungrandiloquently named "Bulgari-125 Years of Italian Magnificence" exhibit in Beijing. Tang Wei, Song Jia, Pace Wu and many others were there to be photographed wearing some of their host's products.
