While promoting their current movie "Midas Touch", Charlene Choi and Chapman To let it slip that their next work together will be a Category III production directed by Chapman To in which she will have "revealing scenes but not nudity". Sounds like Choi may be following the well trod path of established actresses who add a pit of panache to their resumes by keeping their clothes on in a movie best know for those who do not. The subject of the film is child prostitution so there should be plenty of room for salacious content viewed from the high moral ground. Choi said that doing a role with some edgy content will increase her chances for best actress type awards, unlike the characters she has played in the past. Hard to imagine that the non-Edison Chenized half of The Twins would one day be grist for the mill for the guys at This Week in Sleaze.

Twins photoshopped to look topless
Charlene, Gillian and a fierce looking hawk were put together in Photoshop to promote a new album. They might have been stripped to the waist and there might have been feathers scattered around the set but the curved beak and sharp talons of the predatory bird never got close to them.
They did look lovely cuddling in feather inspired chain mail. Sina

More ladies in red

Charlene Choi with pig purse, Zhang Jingchu luxury brand mystery solved
Charlene Choi paired an extremely short skirt with insane looking stilettos for Anteprima, a handbag and accessory company based in Hong Kong and Milan. They have a whimsical and impractical line of animal shapes in their Wirebag collection including this pig:
Even though the Anteprima show at the Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2012 featured Hello Kitty carrying one of their bags it isn't all animals:
Whatever one might think of As Sa's shoes, wearing heels like that as one approaches 30 is a great way to insure intractable back pain in years to come.
Xinhua
Also on the handbag front Zhang Jingchu was in Paris with a bunch of other A-list celebs to help Lancel celebrate its 135 years of making purses:

Charlene Choi goes to school, Li Bingbing in pink, Tang Wei for Bulgari
Charlene Choi wields huge syringe to vaccinate Hong Kong kids against HPV:
Apparently in Hong Kong, like most of the world, public health initiatives like vaccination of children against human papillomavirus isn't a matter of political controversy as it in other places--or at least one other place, the United States. Charlene Choi was looking relaxed and lovely while appearing as ambassador for the "primary and secondary students in Hong Kong HPV vaccine program", the sixth year she has served in that capacity.
Xinhua ran the story.
A few days before Charlene dropped in at the graduation of Emperor Academy first-generation college students in creative entertainment (I think, based on an inadequate translation) to hand out diplomas and look quite fetching in an eclectic outfit. The Academy is sponsored by Emperor Entertainment Group, a mega talent, producing and financing conglomerate in Hong Kong.
Sina had the story.
Li Bingbing celebrated the end of filming for the comedy "I Do" at at press conference with co-stars Sun Honglei and Duan Yihong. In a hot pinkish dress and leather elbow length gloves, she was every inch the movie star at work unlike Charlene Choi who was able to dress down for her more low key events.
Xinhua and China.org
In other fluffy movie star news, Tang Wei, sporting an asymmetrical hair style, fronted for yet another Bulgari show/exhibit/reception. Bulgari is well entrenched in China as a luxury brand--one of the reasons LVMH bought out the Bulgari family is to increase its already significant penetration in China.
Tang Wei images from Xinhua. Jing has some background on Bulgari in China along with speculation of them appointing a local celebrity as brand ambassador. Tang Wei would probably be the frontrunner--she has been ubiquitous with them recently.

The Twins in the land of pandas and brocade

Closing Red Carpet at Golden Rooster Awards
The awards have been handed out at the Mainland's answer to the Academy Awards and some of our favorites hit the red carpet; their outfits ranged from demure to stripperific.
Vicki Zhao Wei was the image ambassador this year. She was the MC for the awards themselves, introducing the presenters and other performers plus filming an underwater dance with a couple of male dancers--but more on that later. She looked elegant in a black dress with an art deco texture. She may not have realized how transparent it became when the camera flashes hit it.
Zhou Weitong and her stylist knew exactly how this already transparent with strategically placed patches dress would look--this isn't the first time she has worn a variation of it. One of the oddities of Google automatic translation from Chinese to English is that this becomes a "clairvoyant" dress. Which it might be.
The Twins stood out in bright (almost) primary colors.
The unmistakable Queen of Swords, Cheng Pei Pei, is on the left.
Three looks on actresses emphasizing their cleavage. First is Gong Xinliang in an outfit that falls between grotesque and really stupid. She leads with her strength but doesn't look happy about it.
Li Yifei in a classic look that has been a favorite red carpet look for busty women for decades.
Chrissie Chow keeps it simple with a plunging neckline. Hu Ge serves as her arm candy and looks quite smug about it.
Huang Lu in a classic Empire waist dress; the color would work almost anywhere except on a red carpet where it clashed badly. She is accompanied by Ye Shanhao.
Li Ai in a black chiffon-y dress and ballet flats--the other side of the stripper platforms that show up occasionally.
Vivian Hsu in a sequined flapper dress and oddly colored shoes. She manages to look great all the time wearing just about anything.
Lots more at Ifeng and Sohu.

The Twins and the Empress Dowager
Charlene and Gillian went to Shanghai for the opening of a Vivienne Westwood store and were decked out in her fashion as a comment on fashion outfits complete with Frankenstein shoes and devil horns. Xinhau has the better story (from which the moniker "Empress Dowager for Vivienne is taken) while Sina has better pictures.
Presented to the Empress:
Question: "How do you walk in those things?" Answer: "Very carefully":
