Bulgari threw a party highlighting some of their goods that only the wealthiest of the wealthy can afford. They invited Cherie Chung Cho-Hung
to be photographed wearing some of their creations, a good idea since she is, after all, Cherie Chung. She stood under a sign:
held out her handbag:
sipped some Champagne:
and wandered into a corner with a few zillion RMB worth of diamonds and other gemstones:
Anytime Cherie Chung gets her picture taken is worth noting, especially so when she is in full movie star diva regalia--the cape made from black feathers might look over the top on some but is perfect for her.

Ageless Cherie Chung for Bulgari
Cherie Chung appeared for ultra-luxury jeweler Bulgari. She had the relaxed grace of someone who has just cashed a nice check for her appearance fee and has a few hundred thousand dollars of emeralds and diamonds around her neck.
Stylish and poised, she looked to be having a good time. When asked how she stayed so beautiful and fresh looking for so long (she is reported to be 52 years old) Cherie Chung said her secret was to drink lots of water, leaving out the part about having inherited the genes for a perfect bone structure for her classically proportioned face. Plus being able to take things exactly as seriously as they should be (in this case not very).
A devilishly delightful look that a lot of men would love to have directed at them.

Cherie Chung, Kelly Lin and Shu Qi walk into a bar...
Or rather showed up at the opening a new flagship store by luxury Swiss watch brand Piaget (if you have to ask you can't afford it). It seems as if everyone got the memo--not always the case--so each of them arrived in a dress with a deep V cut neckline.
Shu Qi wore a beaded red number with a flesh colored insert to better show off the zillion dollars in diamonds she was wearing around her neck and to make sure we noticed that her dress was slit up to here.
Kelly Lin has been keeping a low profile in the months since her Maldives wedding; she still knows exactly how sexy an actress can be by looking straight into the camera. She might have been competing in the "gown with most frou-frou" competition being held later that evening
Cherie Chung was a knockout in gray--she seems always to look great no matter where she is or what she is wearing. Take a look, for example, at this photoshoot where she has a very different look and still is glamor personified.

Cherie Chung in Beijing
Cherie Chung was a featured guest at a benefit for the Smile Angel Foundation in Beijing. Here are some pictures from the event because she is Cherie Chung and is stunning. Wearing a nondescript looking dress that didn't really fit--it just hung there in its satiny pleated dullness--no accessories other than earings and her hair in a simple piled-on-her-head updo, she was drop dead gorgeous.
She has a devastating smile--a face that could launch a thousand ships.
Like the organizers at the Smile Foundation, the editors at Sina know a good thing when they see it. Lots more images there.

Dennis Lee discovered a collection of photos of Hong Kong movie stars from the recent past at Trouble in Hong Kong. Lovely stuff.

Cherie Chung for MontBlanc
Wow. Cherie Chung dropped by a new MontBlanc store in Beijing wearing her superhero cape. She was striking in all black with a splash of scarlet at her waist that could have been part of an elaborate buckle, accessorized with (one assumes) a MontBlanc watch.

Cherie Chung gives Macau the Godzilla/Tokyo treatment
A live Cherie Chung was invited to stomp on a 3D image of Macau at the anniversary celebration of Macau One Square in the former Portuguese colonial outpost. The artist, Qi Xinghua, was there to supervise attended by the usual gaggle of merchants and hangers-on. At 51, she probably has a few more years before becoming "the ageless Cherie Chung".
