Zhang Ziyi with Yao Ming and Kobe Bryant at charity events
Zhang Ziyi spent time with some really tall guys recently. First with Yao Ming (recently retired from NBA) at an event honoring Zhang Haidi, named a role model in the China.org "Memorable Chinese of the past 60 Years." Zhang is a well known translator of western literature into Chinese. Unable to attend school after contracting polio when she was five years old she is an auto-didact, having learned English, Japanese, German and Esperanto on her own.
