Faye Wong concert in Chengdu
Faye Wong had multiple costume changes during her concert in Chengdu and killed in every one of them. While some combinations of outfit and makeup were more successful
than others,
she radiated star power in all of the shots from the concert.
Faye Wong didn't have a single costume change at the concert I attended at Stadium Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, some years back. I think it partly was due to it raining like crazy that evening. She didn't dance much either -- explaining that the stage was too wet and slippery. Instead, she sang over 20 songs -- and oh so very well. To date, I consider it the best pop concert performance I've ever had the privilege to witness. :)
She must do a heck of a show--based on some youtube clips, the response of her zillions of fans and the pictures from her concerts Faye Wong must be one of the big draws in east and southeast Asia. I would love to see a properly shot, edited and produced concert film of her.
