Carina Lau hops on the Haagen Dazs bandwagon; Yao Chen picks up a Golden Phoenix

Carina Lau and Yao Chen must have gotten the memo about wearing short (or shortish) dresses with lots of lace. Carina Lau was in Chengdu, Sichuan to hype Haagen Dazd moon cakes while Yao Chen was honored at the Golden Phoenix Awards in Qingdao, Shandong. Showing their usual delicacy and restraint the Chinese entertainment press bombarded Carina asking if she and Tony Leung Chiu-Wai were headed to the United States to find a surrogate to give birth to a child for them.

Although Carina Lau did not seem that excited about the wonderful new line of yummy snacks

A couple of thousand kilometers to the northeast Yao Chen was looking much happier in her lacy black concoction. She got an award dedicated to commend artists who have made contributions to the development of China’s film industry and, along with her fellow stars, was invited to plant a tree in the city.
