Forevermark Diamonds shows they are good marketers when they decided to hype their brand and the opening of its first "brand zone" in Hong Kong by draping Michele Reis in a king's ransom of shiny baubles and inviting the photographers. According the their multimedia press release, "celebrated actress Michele Reis was invited to the opening ceremony and became the first guest of the brand zone."

The first of what will become an unmanageable flood of images from the 68th Venice International Film Festival are trickling in. Eva Huang Shengyi and Zhao Tao wore contrasting styles to the festival opening showing of George Clooney's "Ides of March".

The article in Xinhua says that she has ten years of classical dance training and was inspired by the Stravinsky/Fokine masterpiece while working on her current hit song.

Fan Bingbing joined the ever growing list of pitchwomen for this yummy Mid-Autumn Festival treat. She used the occasion to draw attention to a charity she works with and sponsors that funds operations for Tibetan children with congenital heart disease.

Following links in partially translated pages of the Chinese online entertainment press is usually a fool's errand; I often find myself lost in a virtual wilderness of blogs, microblogs and ads for strange products. Very occasionally though, one can stumble upon pure gold which was the case recently. Below are some uncontextualized pictures of Li Bingbing wearing lingerie that might border on fetish gear. As far as I could tell there was no ad copy nor pointers to where one might find the items for sale.

There is an odd reticence regarding the provenance of the photos. Chinese entertainment media aren't shy about grabbing images and slapping their own logos or watermarks on them, right next to or over the logo of the site that owns the image. In this case check the upper left hand corner of each picture--looks like a quick and dirty Photoshop obscuring of a logo.
